Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn were paying more than $6000 per month for interns 2014, according to Glassdoor.
Glassdoor releases a list of the highest paying companies for interns, on the list most of the companies are in Technology, occupying 18 of the top 25 spots. The Three popular social networking sites, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn are included in the tech sector. Facebook and LinkedIn have occupied in the past year Glassdoor made a list. But Twitter, which recently went public, rounding out to the top three with an average salary of $6,791, followed by LinkedIn at $6,230 and Facebook at $6,213.
OK, which one is taking the first place? It is probably not one you’ll guess. It’s Palantir, a company that provides data analytics to customers, mostly works on government contracts. Vmware is holding down a place in the second place, with an average monthly pay of $6,213.
The report was gathered from anonymous information provided by the site’s users and rankings are based on data collected from companies on the site with 20 or more intern salary reports over the last two years.
