Bing announced three new lifestyle apps on Windows Phone, Tuesday: Travel, Food and Drink, and Health and Fitness. Comparable apps were already available on Windows 8.1. These apps include cross-platform, so will now sync across Windows 8 devices. All three apps are available to download in the Windows Phone store now.
Bing Tavel
The Bing Travel App lets users discover places to visit by providing destination guides, professional photos, expert reviews and more. Users can easily track flights within the app with pinned flights. Users can search for hotels with sort by price, class, proximity, or popularity. Users can view current weather conditions and currency conversion rates for your destination. And also each destination provides both professional photos and travel photos.
Bing Food & Drink
Bing Food & Drink gives you thousands of recipes from more than 600,000 recipes on cooking sites Bon Appetit, BigOven, AllRecipes, Epicurious, Food52, Saveur and more. As well as you can then create and manage multiple shopping lists based on your recipe selection and even look up wine choices.
Bing Health & Fitness
The Bing Health & Fitness App has tools to help you stay fit including, Diet Tracker, Cardio Tracker, GPS Tracker, Symptom Checker, Virtual Fitness Instruction, and Medical Lookup.
The cardio tracker for keeping tabs on exercise routines and a GPS tracker for logging run stats and a medical encyclopedia that’s provides information about thousands of prescription medications.
Bing also added major updates to its existing Finance, Sports, Weather and News apps.
